The SOE organises the Integral Orthomolecular Medicine Course which trains persons with sufficient medical background to be orthomolecular therapists. The course is also designed for doctors, paramedical therapists, alternative healers and other healthcare professionals wishing to include orthomolecular nutrition and medicine in their practice. The course starts every year in September and continues for approx. 10 months (8 blocks of 2 days). At the end of the course a certificate will be presented to those students who have attended all sections of the course.
Exams will be held in June. Successful candidates receive a diploma directly admitting the person as a member of the professional association MBOG (Maatschappij ter Bevordering van de Orthomoleculaire Geneeskunde, Society for the Advancement of Orthomolecular Medicine). Furthermore, names of successful candidates will be placed on the SOE-list of addresses of orthomolecular doctors and therapists in the Netherlands (published on the internet).
